Values
Lanier Football was founded on the values of character, class, & commitment. These values are more than words that hang throughout the halls of the Lanier Longhorn fieldhouse; they are the foundational principles through which this program operates. Character education and leadership development are a part of the everyday training program of Lanier Football.
Head Coach Korey Mobbs has a passion to see student athletes succeed not only on the field, but also in life. This passion is shared by his entire coaching and support staff, who understand that the football field is not only a stage on which character is displayed, but a classroom on which character is taught.

Longhorn for Life
To provide maximum support and direction in the area of character and leadership development, Coach Mobbs started the Longhorn for Life program. This program provides practical character and leadership training throughout the week, which is reinforced by individual player support in these areas. Longhorn for Life teaches such principles as:

- Responsibility
- Teachability
- Commitment
- Vision
- Initiative
- Service
- Self-Discipline
- Generosity
- Gratitude
The goal of Longhorn for Life is to help student-athletes not only understand these character traits, but also equip them with practical systems (habits) that can help them maximize and display these character traits on their team, at school, at home, in the community, and for life!
